Peets, Starbucks within 1.5 miles. Also consider 18 Grams (trendy tea/coffee place) or the Nugget to try a tasty affogato or take advantage of their juice bar.

My favorite is Nick the Greek, less than a mile away and is typically open late for a healthier option and quick easy pickup. There are many options, including a food court in the Nugget and Costco.  For a traditional good tasting cookie, the Cookie Jar is not too far, but if you crave something really sweet there is Cookie Crumble or SomiSomi nearby too.

Elk Grove has several grocery options nearby.  Our favorites within an approximate 2-mile radius are Costco, Trader Joes, and the Nugget.  

In addition to local options, we have favorites in Amador, Lodi, and the Napa Valley. Two of my favorites locally is Christopher Cellars and Old Sugar Mill. In Amador a hidden gem Dillian Wines, on your way to Lodi in Acampo is Heritage Oaks Winery, and in Lodi and Napa many other options.  My husband's local favorite Brewery is the Dust Bowl. 

Elk Grove has several farmers markets and open locations depends on the season.  They are typically held in Old Town Elk Grove, Sprouts parking lot, and District 56 Aquatics Center (walking distance from the Crafter's Guest House). 

Unique gifts and crafting classes can be found throughout Elk Grove. I personally enjoy the Pinot Pallette (Paint and Sip in Elk Grove - Elk Grove Pinot's Palette (pinotspalette.com) for painting and making candles and the Elk Grove Fine Arts Center classes (Your Local Creative Place is the Elk Grove Fine Arts Center) and opportunity to purchase items from local artisans. If you like to crochet, there is a hidden gem of a store called Knitique (knitiqueyarns.com).

Within walking distance is the Elk Grove Aquatics Center HOME - Elk Grove Aquatics Club (egacgators.com) and many nearby parks, dog parks, bike riding paths, and much more. We enjoy going to Nimbus Lake to paddleboard.  

If you are interested, Facebook has an Elk Grove Ladies group that randomly get together to go to the movies, paddleboard (Elk Grove Paddlers), paint, or just go out to eat. 

Locally there are several yoga, cross fit, and exercise options. Orange Theory and Yoga 6 are just about a mile away.
